The Visual Arts creation project, titled Participation, was at the core of the Iminente Takeover program. This project, developed by Iminente in co-production with the Ephemeral Ethernal platform, continued to promote creative engagement, a hallmark of the platform’s work, aiming to explore digital tools as a means of public participation in the conceptual creation of unique artworks.
Participation resulted in the creation of four artworks based on data provided by the public, which materialized as phygital installations (a fusion of digital and physical elements) presented at the Iminente Takeover.
Three artists and a collective from different nationalities were invited to participate. They used online platforms—questionnaires, specially created or pre-existing websites—to gather the data that formed the foundation of the presented creations and artworks.
